Chapter 7 of GHOSTED was one of the more difficult to write AND live through.  But there's always a little light in the darkness, even when you care barely perceive it.  For this painting, I painted the canvas black and used my fingernails to etch a design that is trending upward: toward light, toward hope, toward a future.

In this painting, I was attempting to show this small glimpse of hope, and to convey I Corinthians 4:8,9:"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
