CHAPTER 24: Light and Warmth

Because I was a ghostwriter for political clients, I wound up at pro-Trump rallies and was not prepared for what I saw.  The palpitating contempt for other Americans was no longer merely represented by mean tweets. I saw it up close.  In this painting, I created an image that looks like a nuclear blast (which threatens to destroy everything) or the dawning sun (which can bring light and warmth). You can tell from the title of this piece which one I hope ends up prevailing.
