I don’t understand the spiritual realm, but the events in Chapter 12 made me curious (and slightly apprehensive) about the often ignored sphere beyond us.  Though we normally do not see this spiritual world, I received a comforting glimpse on that day. And it was hopeful, warm, confusing, and beautiful. In this painting, I attempt to depict the essence of John 1:15. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
